Finally showing off the new Vivo X100 Pro and how it handles some low light video. Most of the telephoto shots were maxing out ISO, at 3200. Settings wise, this was shot using the pro mode, at 30fps, shutter speed 1/60, and auto ISO. In-camera noise reduction turned on, as well as in body stabilization. I also used a budget friendly smartphone gimbal in tandem with the Vivo's in-body stabilization. No color changes, exposure changes, etc in post. Shopping for Moment gear? Join me on a peaceful night walk through Honmachi (with a cheeky lighting storm in the background too)! The settings for this video will be listed below. Battery Drain: 83% to 72% over the course of the entire recording (huge improvement over the 1IV imo) - Lens: 24mm - Profile: S-Cinetone for mobile - Format: 4K - Stabilization: Off (using a motorized gimbal) - FPS: 59.94 - WB: Auto - Shutter: 1/60 (not following 180 rule since it is dark and I'm trying to maximize light gathering) - Input volume: 5 - Eye/Face AF: Off - Auto ISO (hitting 6400 max) - AE level: 0 - Output volume: 17 - Product Showcase: Off - Focus Peaking: Off (not sure how much extra strain this puts on processing) - Intelligent Wind Filter: Off - Mic: Stereo Recording (as opposed to the rear mic for "voice priority") Ambient temps were at 28°C, I didn't get any heat pop-ups or warnings, and no feature throttling or screen refresh rate throttling. My refresh rate is always set to 120fps. After recording, the rear of the device was evenly warm, including the notched edges, meaning heat dissipation throughout the whole body has been much improved on the V generation. CPU temps were in the mid to high 50°, but within a minute or two cooled completely back down. The rear was quite warm to the touch, but nowhere near the 1IV when I did walks with it. Like I mentioned, within a min or two, the rear felt totally normal. I'm super happy to be achieving this performance with the new design and chipset. Thank you for watching! Sorry again for the audio, I'll try another solution for my next attempt at this. Hopefully it's still enjoyable though! As for video, the only thing I did was adjust the contrast a little bit. Other than that, it's straight from the phone. This is using the Crane M2S stabilizer with image stabilization turned off on the Xperia. This location is called 桜トンネル南 (Sakura Tunnel South) in Oji Koen. Once the sakura trees bloom, this will become a literal tunnel of cherry blossoms. I might try to revisit this spot once that happens this time around, but I'm leaving Kobe soon so I can't guarantee it. Thanks for watching! I've had it since launch and have been through all the downs to finally reach the ups. Thankfully for me overheating is nonexistent now and I have absolutely no performance qualms with it.
