This is a cinematic commercial/testimonial piece I recently did for a local CrossFit and functional training gym. I tried to make it a bit different than the usual sport commercial by going for a more chill background track to go along with the voiceover of the people sharing what they think of the gym. The entire piece was directed, shot and edited by myself. I used the Sony a6400 which continues to surprise me in terms of how great of an image I can get out of it for such a budget friendly camera. I decided to put together a little spec commercial project for the All Trails app on a budget. I love hiking so it only seemed fitting to make an ad about something related to it. The topic most of your favourite creators will avoid talking about is - the periods of time when there's just no work. Unfortunately most people want to keep up appearances and always seem like they're successful.
