From Entirely Improvised Footage Camera Retrieved At Location The Explanation For The "Paranormal Presence" Is Unexplainable.. Starring RogueBlueJay: www.youtube.com/roguebluejay TimH078: www.youtube.com/timho78 This film literally took 4 days to edit...it was a simple idea that we shot for fun, but the time I used to make it seem real was mind numbing, the spent the first day doing constant research on films of this style, (Cloverfield, Grave Encounters, Chronicle) to have an idea of the feel. Making the deaths work was a pain, I didn't want the simple speed up to make it seem going, I wanted the deaths to have the unnatural aspect of it. But the sound.....OH THE SOUND. I honestly think what makes this short film was the sound, the amount of time I spent was similar to the time spent of "Pause And Think" manipulating sounds I had, to make it seem authentic and unnerving, a lot of the sounds are "borrowed" from exisiting songs, for example "Bon Iver" is playing, all I did was deepen his voice and slow it down giving the "humm" or sounds. The monsters main sound was created by us literally screaming, I gave it an echo, reversed it and sped it up, and that's what came out of it. I can go on for hours about this development of this film, but I would bore you to death I'm proud of this video, we filmed it just for fun and it turned out something awesome!
