This video is dedicated to my Mom Back in April of 2023 I decided to take my mom on an adventure that would change our lives forever and for some reason we chose Albania to be the country we will visit. There are a lot of hidden gems in Europe, especially in Italy, but hidden right next to Sicily lay the Aeolian Islands with landscapes and sights you wouldn't believe exist in Europe! From vast green landscapes and mountains in Isola di Salina, Breathtaking views of the active volcano on Isola di Vulcano with all its Sulfuric clouds visible from every side of the island and last, but not least - Stromboli, which is a volcano that has been active for the last 260.000 years and is still active. Believe it or not, in this video we managed to capture an actual eruption of the Stromboli volcano! This Voyager was much different from anything else we've experienced previously because we spent a week cruising and hopping between different islands, exploring beautiful towns and seeing landscapes that did not feel like Europe, what an amazing experience! We filmed all of this in a span of 2 days basically and I edited everything in just under 2 days, 12h in premiere per day, for 2 days straight, now that's some commitment! We had such a great time playing around with this beast! The fact that I was forced to use a tripod for most of the shots really challenged me to concentrate more on the visuals and the story instead of whipping out my gimbal and getting random shots. What a great practice! :) I would highly advise you to at least check out this lens if you are into filmmaking. For the past few weeks we've been testing the Moza Slypod for both client and personal projects and although i was quite skeptical at first, i ended up liking this product quite a lot. I guess we've all been at this point where we say : when i get this or when this happens, i will do it. The problem is that by having a mindset like this we delay our chance of success, of course if you work on a movie set, these little details might be crucial and this sort of excuse might be valid but for us - vlogers, youtubers and indie filmmakers the most important thing is to publish our content as soon as possible and learn from our mistakes. The problem of making dumb excuses can also turn into a bad habit in which we start to blame everything else, just so we can watch Netflix or play video games just a little longer. I've also been in a lot of situations in which i use my excuse "presets" to extend my deadline with a client, saying that i'm super busy even though i'm not, or saying that i don't feel well...This leaves a bad impression and clients will start to loose the trust they had in you. Say what you want but at some point in your filmmaking career you've been dreaming of buying a better camera. When I first discovered this effects, I was shocked, all the time I spent recovering shadows and highlights...all could've been easily solved in matter of seconds with this one effect!

The only thing I did was increase contrast and saturation by 20%, that's it! I went for a little walk around the block with my brand new S20+ to test out its 8K capabilities, For 80% of the shots I used the Smartphone gimbal Smooth Q2 because the stabilisation on 8K is, honestly, Trash.
