The XH2s was great, but its autofocus had some quirks (i know it is fixed now), and I felt I was too reliant on the Fuji color science. So, I took the plunge and bought the highly anticipated LUMIX S5IIX! In this video, I share my initial thoughts on the S5IIX. I’ve been collecting Canon FD lenses for the past two years, and the nFD lineup has quickly become my go-to set for street photography. I love how small and lightweight these lenses are, making them perfect for photo walks. I also own the SSC version of the 35mm f/2, so stay tuned for a comparison video featuring all four of my 35mm FD lenses. nFD 35mm f/2 Specs & Impressions: Small but slightly heavier than the 35mm f/2.8 Optical construction: 10 elements in 8 groups 8 aperture blades for interesting bokeh when stopped down 52mm front filter thread — super convenient for ND filters Took this lens on a trip to the UK and even used it to shoot a friend’s wedding alongside my other nFD lenses (24mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.2, 85mm f/1.8). Street Photography Insights I’m using the Sony a7C II, and switching between full-frame and APS-C mode in both photo and video has been a game-changer. During street photography, I often wait for great light and interesting subjects to walk into the frame—sometimes you capture those perfect, cinematic moments. Testing the Cheapest Fujifilm Lens on the Flagship XH2S! In this video, I pair the Fujifilm XC15-45mm f3.5-5.6 OIS PZ, the most affordable lens in the Fujifilm system, with the flagship XH2S camera. Despite its budget-friendly price, this compact and lightweight lens surprised me with its performance. Join me as I explore its capabilities through a street photography shoot. TL;DW: The XC15-45mm lens exhibits significant vignetting at 15mm, which disappears around a certain focal length. With a full-frame equivalent of 22.5-67.5mm and an aperture range of f3.5-5.6, it's quite suitable for street photography. Shooting at smaller apertures like f9 and f11 helps keep more of the street in focus, enhancing the relationship between the subject and the surroundings. While the lens performs well overall, its retractable power zoom function and lack of focal length markings can be inconvenient. I picked up this lens second-hand for just $100 USD, making it a great value for casual photography and family outings. This is my review for the TTartisan 35mm f1.8 for the fuji x system, the TL;DR is it is a better lens if you are in the Sony e-mount system because of the lack of aperture ring, it is a pain to use with my fujifilm camera because fuji only gives you two command dials so the aperture ring is really important to me. This was an impulse purchase for me on black friday last year, took me this long to make this video because I kinda like the result but I don't like shooting with it, and the minimum focusing distant also quite painful. But, if it is on sales and you are a Sony shooter, you should consider this lens. In my last video about the X-S20, I have a comment asking for the ungraded footage of the 6.2k open gate video from the camera, and here it is. The only thing I did with this footage was convert it from f-log2 to rec709 with the Fujifilm conversion lut. The #viltrox13mmf1.4, is an ultrawide lens for the #fujifilm system. There is currently no other lens in the system that is this wide and this fast. It is certainly fun to shoot with a wide angle in the street, the autofocus is good, but it will still hunt from time to time, probably due to the contrast base autofocus. Took my #fujixt3 for a walk, practicing street photography. Took two lenses with me, one is the legendary FujiFilm XF #35mm f1.4, and the other is the budget XC 50-230mm. All video was shot with #fujixt4 XF18-55mm f2.8-4, #f-log, and all photo was shot with #fujixt3.

Under normal circumstances, I wouldn’t look at this particular lens because of the f3.5 aperture. This lens actually has a story to it. My friend ordered a Super Takumar 50mm f1.4 on amazon japan because it is not easy to find in Hong Kong. But when the lens arrived, he found out that this wasn’t what he had ordered. The package and everything that come with the lens said this is 50mm f1.4. he tried to contact the seller, but he ghosted him, and amazon japan is not that helpful, so there was no return, and he got stuck with an f3.5. I took the liberty to ask to borrow it for a weekend just to play around with it. All photos and videos are shot with my trusted fujixt4 with the classic negative film simulation. Borrowed this lens from my friend, and wanted to go out to test it.... but it was raining like crazy... because this is not my lens so I can only do some test shots without getting it wet... This is a vintage lens, the Helios 44m4 58mm f2. I bought this lens around 3 years ago, at that time I wasn’t very good at manual focus and at f2 the lens is really soft… I suspect I have bought a bad copy and the lens has been collecting dust. Recently I’ve learned to shoot with a smaller aperture, f4, f5.6 and heard the cinematographer of the new Batman movie use this to shoot some of the car scenes… I know I have to give this lens another try. The cheapest tele lens from fujifilm, the XC 50-230mm, is it good enough for street photography? I took it out on a walk with myFujifilm X-T4 #fujixt4 to test its ability, enjoy the video.
