We’ve rebuilt this LUT from scratch in Fusion and while this is an attempt to emulate the LUT as closely as possible, there is a creative flavor added to it. Hues and creative contrast curves present a closer match to the classic 2383 style look, but there's an additional attempt to add a negative film-like saturation. Test Grades using FilmForever 2383 Power Grades. Power Grade is a rebuild of 2383 LUT using Davinci Resolve’s capabilities. Note that the exact replication of the 2383 LUT is not what we aim for here. Footage used: Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K & Sonly A7S III. We wanted to create a close enough replication of Kodak 2383 characteristics for creative purposes.
