Okay here’s all the settings you need to get really high quality videos on your iPhone. Phone’s are easily becoming a - Firstly even if you’re doing selfie video use your back camera because it’s way better. - You also wanna turn off turn off HDR mode. it’s incredibly hard to edit. and it takes up a bunch of storage on your phone. totally not worth it - Now you wanna have your phone set to 4k30, you can zoom all the way in between lenses while you record. I’ve noticed that if you’re in 4k 60 you cant. - Now probably the most important thing is to have your phone in most compatible instead of high efficiency. this makes it friendly to Tik Tok and instagram’s compression. - Okay for what to do while filming, sunlight is your best bet. make sure your subject is well lit. Generally having the sun to your back makes for a cleaner looking image than when the light is coming - For Posting, in your instagram settings, turn on ‘allow high quality uploads’ on tik tok under cache and cellular data, turn off your data saver. If you combine all these steps, you should come up with some very crisp high quality clips that are perfectly optimized for sharing on both tik tok and instagram. try it and tell me what you think. And again. there’s a whole bunch more tips in the caption

Here another one of my favorite photographers @joel_meyerowitz an icon who pioneered color #photography along with a few other legends back in the 70’s. Something to take away from this, don’t be afraid to switch up your style and medium. You never know what could come out of it.

Here’s a few #tips on how i film myself. (1) - practice makes perfect (2) - think about the energy you want to convey and express that with your action (3) - a tripod is key (4) - Script your videos. They help you stay on topic, get to the point and flow from point to point very easily.

Okay here’s something i’ve started doing to make getting a #hyperlapse way easier. rather than taking steps, i set an interval timer on my camera and then get unto a moving object that goes around my subject. makes for slightly more smooth motion and makes your job a little easier #photographytips #cinematography #timelpase

#Filmgrain warm color shifts and a little bit of dust&grain are the three elements i use to give my photos that vintage look. You can download a multitude of overlays for the dust and scratch. my favorite blend mode for this is screen mode. If photoshop’s not your thing. Here’s how I save money when it comes to booking international flights. I use a VPN and change my location to Turkey, Spain or the UAE. Some websites have regional pricing and discounts for certain countries. It takes a little bit of time to find these discounts. But the price difference is often worth the hard work. Here’s how I get Drag Shutter #photography. Timing is crucial as the subject is in motion. So burst mode is going to be your best friend here. You wanna set the shutter speed to around 1/25th or 1/20th for that soft, blurry background, adjusting the aperture if necessary. When I’m trying to create a little bit of intrigue in a quick #cinematic sequence I love to bust out the #snorricam. It’s pretty easy if you #DIY it with 2 belts and a tripod. Definitely worth a try. Just make sure you fasten the belt really tightly. #cinematography

Here’s how I’ve been staying in shape over the course of 4 years of non stop travel. Weighted workouts with my suitcase. Tbh, it’s kind of annoying and bulky in the beginning. But you get used to it. And its an easy way to hold on to gains while on the road #fitness #travel

Hands down my favorite way of getting my creative juices flowing again. Spending time in museums. I try and knock out a visit a few times a week. Always handy if you’ve got creative block or if you’re looking for inspiration

Cheeky little technique I’ve been using to boost my productivity on longer projects. It’s called the #pomodorotechnique. Start by choosing a task to focus on, setting a timer for 25 minutes, and working on the task until the timer goes off. Once the timer rings, take a 5-minute break before starting the next Pomodoro. After four Pomodoros, take a longer break of 15-30 minute. I’ve found it give helps me stay a lot more focussed and productive on longer tasks because it forces me to break them down into manageable intervals.
