Here are the details that brought this magical build to life: Weight: Approximately 2 kilograms. Motors: Powerful 2810 motors running on 6S batteries for incredible lift and stability. Build: Entirely 3D-printed, requiring 36 hours of print time and countless hours of assembly. Design: Festive decorations, intricate details, and a holiday sparkle that make Santa’s sleigh as beautiful as it is functional. As always, this isn't your typical review-I'm just sharing my honest experiences! I recently picked up the DJI Action 5 Pro, and here's why: I wasn't thrilled with the GoPro 13 release. Don't get me wrong, the GoPro is a great camera, but as someone who owns the GoPro 12, I didn't see any significant upgrade points in the new model. So, I decided to try something different. These are my very first flights with the DJI Action 5 Pro, capturing the breathtaking fall colors in the mountains. A quick heads-up: I forgot to turn off Auto White Balance, so you'll notice some color jumps in the footage. Plus, since it's my first test, there are no ND filters or additional accessories-just raw footage (DLOG) straight out of the box. This footage was filmed before the first big DJI Action 5 update (which added more Mbps), but I have to say, even in the less-than-ideal weather conditions, the results are impressive. I really love the sharp, consistent image across the entire screen-it's that signature DJI look that stands out. Honestly, I hope the DJI O4 system continues to develop in this direction because it's a style that just works. The image quality here is solid, though I'll admit I still need to experiment more with the settings to fine-tune everything. For a first set of flights, though, I think it turned out great! Despite the challenges, the Action 5 delivered some stunning visuals of the fall colors, and I'm excited to see how it performs as I get more familiar with its capabilities. Is a small drone less fun? The Pavo 20 Pro challenges that assumption with a big punch packed into a tiny frame! In this unconventional review, instead of the usual talking points, we're diving straight into flight footage to showcase just how impressive this little drone is. BETAFPV generously provided me with this compact powerhouse to test, and it truly delivers. Weighing in at under 160 grams, it comes fully equipped with everything you need—just install your own O3 unit, bind the drone, and you’re ready to take off. Lightweight yet packed with power, it’s designed to give you an agile and responsive flight experience right out of the box. We start with some smooth tree surfing, gradually shifting to tighter maneuvers through branches, then even testing some formation flying and a bit of long-range flying. The Pavo 20 Pro handles each challenge with ease, delivering a balanced and satisfying flight experience. It’s agile and responsive in close quarters but also impressively stable when diving down huge mountains. For a drone this size, the Pavo 20 Pro packs in an impressive amount of control and versatility, making every flight feel just as flying a bigger drone so yes small drones can make a lot of fun and capture awesome footage. I already knew that the DJI O3 system could deliver impressive footage, but it's clear how much lighting makes a difference. In low-light conditions, there can be noticeable artifacts and noise, but when the light is right, as you can see in my video, the quality really shines. I’m excited for the O4 units to arrive—if there’s ever a crossover between the Pavo 20 Pro and the O4, it would be an absolute beast!" This not-so-typical review turned into quite a journey. Unfortunately, I ran into the DJI O3 and Goggles 3 blackout bug, which took some time to troubleshoot and required a firmware update from DJI. Then, on top of that, I had several days of bad weather. But in the small windows I had between these setbacks, I really fell in love with the Pavo 20 Pro. Despite being at over 2000 meters altitude, I was getting solid flight times: 4-5 minutes with gentle flying and about 3 minutes when pushing it more aggressively. And with those 4-5 minutes, longer-range flights were very doable and, honestly, a pleasure. Right out of the box, the drone’s tuning was spot on—I only adjusted the rates slightly for a bit more responsiveness, and that was it. Would I recommend this little drone? Absolutely! For under $100 (without the O3 unit), you really can’t beat it in terms of fun and capability. And I can only imagine how much of an upgrade the DJI O4 will bring. I really hope BETAFPV will release an updated cage for it. With that combo, I’d be thrilled to add this small drone to my working fleet. It’s under 160 grams, has a 4-minute flight time, and is super compact—a no-brainer, really For those who’ve been following me for a while, you know I’m not your typical reviewer. Sure, I could do the standard reviews and probably get more views, but that’s not really my style. I usually buy my gear myself, and it’s pretty rare that I recommend anything outright. But this time, BETAFPV reached out at just the right moment—I was already considering the Pavo 20 Pro, so we made a deal: I’d get the drone, and I’d make a video, but in my own style—no extra talk, just flying and showing what’s possible. I had planned for a lot more footage, but with all the setbacks along the way, time slipped by. So here’s my final word on this little drone: it’s absolutely AWESOME. I’m genuinely thrilled I got the chance to try it out, and huge thanks to BETAFPV for sending it over. Keep making these amazing little machines! We ventured into some truly epic Big mountains this time. Even with less-than-ideal weather, the flying was incredible. These peaks were made for FPV speed drones! I put a ton of effort into the edit, aiming for a cinematic, almost movie-like feel with the sound design and color grading. Experience the exhilaration as we dive headfirst into the high-octane world of FPV RC Cars in 'Pushing Boundaries'. Together with my trusty buddy, we tackle gravity, find the limits of the DJI O3 System, and perform some highspeed crashes sorry bro. Strap in and come along for this wild ride! So what is better than one FPV RC CAR? you are right two of them :), this time we found an unused track under a huge bridge, the goal was to come to the top of the bridge but we did not manage to make it, sometimes the signal was under 1mbit on the way up but we managed to get this far with the stock DJI O3 System on the google only on the FPV CAR we use the Runcam DJI O3 antenna because they are longer than the stock ones. This second installment of our thrilling series pushes the boundaries of RC Car FPV long range driving, embracing the dynamic and immersive world of FPV as we aim to conquer a formidable mountain peak. This is a test so we installed new antennas to get maybe more range but we have to test way more to find a good setup. With the DJI O3 FPV System capturing each moment in high-definition detail, we bring you up close and personal with the trials and triumphs of this journey. However, in every adventure, there are peaks and valleys. Despite our best efforts, we fall short of reaching the peak this time around. The reason was that the signal was going under 1-2mbit so we decided on this round we will mark where we got and look for a better starting position to make it to the top. But, as true offroad enthusiasts, we know it's not about the destination, but the journey. This is just the beginning of our larger journey. With our experience from this adventure, we're gearing up for our next attempt. We are committed to making it to the peak and bringing you along for the ride. Join us on an exciting FPV adventure with the Losi Lasernut! This 1/10-scale 4WD RC car is capable of handling all types of terrain, and the DJI O3 FPV system provides an immersive first-person view of the action. In this video, we take the Lasernut on a long-range drive, exploring forests, fields, and even a steep hill climb. The footage is smooth and stable, thanks to the DJI O3's Rocksteady technology. Today, we'll start our exploration with the capable and robust Losi Lasernut, a 1/10 scale 4WD RC car designed to conquer all types of terrains. The journey is enhanced by the immersive visuals offered by DJI O3 FPV system, setting the standard for first-person view driving experiences. The Losi Lasernut, a versatile 1/10-scale 4WD RC car, has been chosen for its capability to handle varied terrains. It's fitted with a robust brushless motor and water-resistant electronics. The model has significant online popularity with numerous FPV videos, and after our comprehensive test, we vouch for its performance and fun quotient. In this maiden venture, I created a pod to contain all the necessary components for FPV driving. This includes FPV electronics and a flight controller. The speed and GPS overlays on the OSD are provided by the INAV Rover software, And finally, I was able to use the TBS crossfire on an rc car respectively, allowing real-time tracking of the RC Car's performance and location. The Losi Lasernut demonstrated impressive capabilities across different terrains. One of the highlights was a steep hill climb at around the 7:00 minute mark, which was an exhilarating experience. If you're wondering about the image stability on the FPV Google, it's not as consistent. However, the DJI O3 has done a remarkable job with rocksteady to smooth the footage. It's less bumpier than previous RC car projects due to the superior suspension of the Losi Lasernut. After some camera soft mounting, the image quality improved significantly. I'm also considering gimble options for better stability, so stay tuned for more updates. We were mostly able to maintain 50mbps in the DJI FPV System on the ground. However, the bitrate did decrease rapidly when the RC car was too far away or obstructed by numerous trees. Despite these occasional drops, the overall results were quite satisfying. We managed to cover a substantial range, which is commendable, especially given that our starting point wasn't ideally positioned. We had a few driving hiccups - a rollover and getting stuck, which added a bit of fun to our first outdoor trial. Sorry for the recent hiatus in content upload. Work commitments kept me busy, but I'm back with this project that has been on my radar for a while. The promising results from the Losi Lasernut mean there's more exciting content on the horizon, including a long-range mountain ascent. Stay tuned! So in this RAW clip from the GoPro 10 you can hear clearly the strong wind it was around 25-40km/h. In The first part of the Clip the wind was coming from right to left, on the first peak of the mountain you can see cleary the hard attacks from the wind but overal it looks amazing I think ket me know whats your opinion. Designing this drone was a super long Journey now over a year with a lot of versions and even more rev. and a data drive full of Blackbox logs (the tune is based on the new BF4.3) and so on but now I'm more than happy that it is in state where I can share my work with you so don't miss my next video :). The Tune Itself is not perfect will never say that but what I can say is that I spent super long time on tuning that build and my design so I was trying to find the Spots where a frame have problems and minize them so much it was possible in the end it is a super stiff and strong frame not light! but for mountain surfing you need an Rocksolid build and frame trust me evene the antennas could be a problem in the wrong TPU mount. Join me in this relaxed journey over a mountain range, where I put my self-designed Long Range FPV drone to the final test before releasing all associated files and tuning settings. Despite the challenging winds that I always seem to encounter on these flights, the drone performed impressively, even with its worn-out propellers (I forgot to bring a replacement). The flight was overall super relaxing, providing a few minutes of cinematic tranquility. FPV Drone flying, particularly on long-range expeditions, has become a passionate journey for me, and I cherish every single flight! Even on this test flight, I didn't push the boundaries or go to the extreme (although stay tuned for videos where I do just that!). Instead, I enjoyed the moment where time, location, drone build, and other factors harmoniously aligned, allowing me to truly live in the moment. Designing this drone has been a lengthy journey, spanning over a year with numerous versions, revisions, and a hard drive filled with Blackbox logs (the tune is based on the new BF4.3). Immerse yourself in this spectacular drone video as we soar through fluffy, white clouds. Captured with precision and professionalism, this footage offers a serene experience, making it the perfect respite from a busy day. The unpredictable weather allowed for just two flights at this incredible location, but the thrill of sending my custom-built FPV Drone armed with a GoPro 10 into these clouds was incomparable. The joy of FPV Drone Cloudsurfing never gets old! Despite the challenging strong winds, the drone managed to hold its own, and I am thrilled with the results achieved in such conditions. In this video, the recording was made in 5K60p, and the GoPro 10 certainly rose to the occasion. The high resolution offers ample room for cropping down to 4K if needed, but for this video, I opted to preserve the original 5K60p quality, resulting in buttery smooth visuals. It's truly astounding what these compact cameras are capable of. Typically, I lean towards 30p for a more cinematic look, but the frame rate can vary depending on the footage. With the fast-moving clouds in this video, the 60p gives a better result. I'm curious to know your thoughts - what's your preference? You read right this video is Unstabilized, In the last half-year, I did Design-build and tuned a new Frame it is a dead cat design from 5 to 8inch (and even bigger). This Video is one of the last life Mid-Range Mountain Surfing tests in some heavy windy environment. The Tune is not perfect still working on the right filter settings but every Mountain Surfer Longrange or Midrange flyer knows that High Mountain Wind is always tricky when you want a smooth Video. The main reason why I post this video is to show that even Unstabilized mountain surfing looks always phenomenal and beautiful. It is not always needed to Stabilize everything. I always tried to keep the Software Stabilization to the minimum in the last years and worked hard on my quads and tunes to get the best possible video outcome without the need for stabilization but in the end, I loved the clean look of Reelsteady on min settings for the final touch. Capturing the exhilarating moments of these exceptional freeriders through my FPV Drone was an incredible adventure. This captivating drone flight through an autumnal forest was captured using my custom-built FPV Drone, equipped with a GoPro Hero 9 recording in 5K 30p. I'm absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The image quality is exceptional, and the rich colors bring a warm, relaxing feeling as we fly through this beautiful larch forest in autumn. It's truly amazing how far we've come with these compact cameras. This FPV drone journey through the forest was a slow, tranquil experience. The forest was so peaceful and serene that I didn't want to disturb the tranquillity. I simply took it slow, finding beautiful routes through the trees and branches. After spending weeks tweaking my PC, I'm now capable of rendering in 5K and higher. This video has a different focus: mainly tranquil cinematic lines weaving under and through the beautiful autumn larch forest. You'll also see some close proximity and faster lines towards the end, but for the most part, it's just a relaxing flight through this magnificent natural scenery. So, sit back, grab a cup of tea, and let nature come to you. It's particularly breathtaking on a big screen. In these times of lockdowns, this video could offer some stress relief. On the day of filming, the wind was quite strong; you can see it in the beginning and occasionally on the trees. At times, it may seem like my drone flying is a bit off, but it was just the wind blowing the trees around. Recently I got my GoPro Hero 9 and of course, I had to make a first FPV test flight with it, A Intense flight downhill to the very straight Proximity line, you shouldn't miss this one, it starts in the video at about 1:45 and is one of my favorite FPV Proximity Flying lines so far. To fly so low and with that speed between the trees and the mountainside and just follow the straight line without stick corrections is always an experience. The area in the video is not so special now but I have a flight in my head where you all will hold your breath so be curious about the next videos. The extra weight is already noticeable but I am glad that the bigger battery will help in winter. This video is without editing and other video tricks except for a slight color correction and real steady. This Video clip was filmed with GoPro hero 9 in 5k 25p after reelsteady I render it in 4k, the 25frames give the image that Cinematic style in some cases. Flying my FPV drones is always an uplifting feeling. Even after all these years I just can't get enough of this feeling of flying. And flying Proximity out of the first person view perspective is just breathtaking, the speeds that are possible with these small drones are just incredible. Happy Halloween everyone! I apologize for the long wait for a new video. In these unprecedented times, I believe it's essential to have a bit of fun. So, I fired up my 3D program and designed a drone pumpkin, taking inspiration from an original design found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1064944. I reworked it to function as a drone. I'll be uploading the design to Thingiverse so you can recreate it if you'd like. My 3D printer worked for about 30 hours to make this, but the result is quite impressive. At this point, I'd like to extend a massive thanks to Seppo (https://www.youtube.com/user/seppo2712) and Stefan for their assistance. The video didn't turn out exactly as I planned, but given these unusual times, it's no surprise that plans are going astray. But I'm optimistic that next year it will go according to plan. You don't see a flying pumpkin soaring through the forest every day, but it was a lot of fun because it flies incredibly well. Navigating super close through all the branches and so on in semi-darkness was absolutely thrilling. Filming in the dark with a GoPro wasn't easy, or should I say the outcome isn't that great - you'll see some super dark footage in the bonus time :). The video was shot using GoPro 9, 8, and Hero 6, with some clips captured with a Mavic Air 2 :) Some folks have already asked me how to build it. I'll be releasing a build video and parts list soon, but what I can say for now is that it's not too difficult. All parts are 3D printed, except for the arms, which are made of carbon sticks. As you have seen in my last videos, hiking and then flying from the places I have reached, is one of my new passion and it connects so nicely with my FPV Drone flying, the backpack is always heavy with all those lipos and drones and other stuff, but the places you can reach and the relief after the hike, when you are there and see all this beautiful nature, is just the best and nothing compares to it and then to see it all these epic Mountains from Above or better saying from the bird's eye view is incredible. Flying like a bird, that's what I imagine whenever I see a majestic eagle or other large bird of prey in the air, that sublime feeling of freedom when I'm flying over the mountains and my FPV is just drumming every stick input 1 to 1 and I just let myself drift along beautifully. Some of these clips from this video will surely be in my 2020 FPV compilation and I can say that there will be a lot of epic stuff there, so stay tuned. Happy hiking and flying! Welcome to the Golden Hour edition of our Cinematic FPV Drone series. This time, we climbed the same mountain again, and we finally caught that perfect, epic sunset on the mountain that we've been chasing. With two FPV drones, two operators, one spectator, and perfect timing for the Golden Hour, we managed to capture some of the most stunning drone footage of a sunset high up on a mountain. It's truly one of the best flying experiences I've ever had. And man, did it work out brilliantly this time! We made it to the mountain top just in time for the Golden Hour, and the weather was nothing short of epic. From there, we flew our drones to the next higher mountain top and captured the breathtaking mountainous landscape in the background. The sight couldn't have been more cinematic. Flying our drones in close formation and keeping an eye on the mountain, the scenery, and each other required concentration, but I think we did quite well. Next time, we aim to fly even closer during transit between mountain peaks. My buddy Tom from the rescue mission joined us too. Unfortunately, his drone wasn't working, so he was our spotter for the day. The situation is best described as EPIC. The mountainside is perfect for long-distance FPV flights - it has three mountain lakes, a rugged landscape, impressive mountain tops, and beautiful rock formations. All we could wish for was good weather. The long range Paradise hike and fly edition will be out soon. Hike and fly is my motto for the year 2020, this time we hiked up a mountain to find beautiful lakes and set them perfectly in the scene at sunset with our FPV drones, when we took off, the weather was excellent, but as we approached the summit it changed very quickly, and we only managed to fly one Lippo before we had to run to escape the storm, luckily we found a safe place where the rain and thunderstorms could not reach us. once again an unbelievable adventure according to the motto no pain no gain. In the first few seconds of the video, you can see what I meant before the storm comes. That was my GoPro Hero 8 in time-lapse mode. Unfortunately, I forgot to switch it to more photos in time, but we were absolutely unaware that the weather would change so quickly. Mountain Weather is sometimes super-fast changing from a sunny day to a cloudy day in just a view minutes but I love these changes and the best thing is when I'm in the middle of that with my FPV Drone and can have some epic fun with mother nature. The winter season of 2019/2020 for snowboarding and skiing ended abruptly due to the Coronavirus pandemic. However, after the first lockdown, we found a group of super motivated guys who were eager to strap on their snowboards and skis to showcase some impressive tricks and have a good time. "Just send it" was and will always be our motto. Whether it's massive self-made kickers or other natural or artificial features, you can have fun with anything and enjoy the airtime. This winter never seemed to end, and we made the most of the last remnants of snow. Sunset Surfing in this golden light with my FPV Drone was just epic and super exciting no fancy edit just a relaxed FPV flight. Take your time to have fun and I hope you can go out and fly days are already getting longer :) As my last Video, this was taken while I did some filming for a Super Secret project I promise you will recognize these epic places in the final product. These Clips were taken after a long filming day doing some super awesome stuff with the best guys around! It was super windy and cold high up in this mountain of the Alps and my fingers were frozen but I couldn't resist and did have to use this epic light! I'm sorry for the delay my Video edit Computer was struggling after a hardware issue so this time no fancy edit just a normal and relaxed fpv flight. The Clip was recorded with a Gopro 8 and Hypersmooth on it was super windy sometimes I couldn't even stand because the wind was pushing that hard, when knowing this the video is super stable for a 5inch quad but sometimes there are shakes or glitches but on all my normal flights there was no problem with it. This was one of my first longer flights with the DJI digital fpv system and yes I like the overall HD world. This clip did take some time in the post-production finding the right music, all the sound design was new for me (hope you like it) and a quick remark in this video you find some raw unstabilized footage, reel steady footage, hyper smooth, all mixed, in my opinion, it starts all with a very nice built and well-tuned quad. All the stabilizing options should just add the last point in a Video to make it outstanding but should never be the main focus. I see so much great footage on youtube and it doesn't matter if it shakes or not it is just awesome to fly on these places and having fun so go and try to tune your quad as perfect as possible your reward is that you get that super nice stick feeling and in a second go you have super nice video out of the box and add stabilizing just for the last top-notch edit look. Testing out the new T-Motor 6143 on my long range FPV 6inch Drone on a cloudy day high up in the mountains, Full speed hitting some cloudy mountain peaks and diving into Clouds what an awesome day to fly and the props are just insanely good! Long Range FPV flying is and was one of my most loved parts in this hobby and with this new T-Motor Props it was never smoother before, perfect feeling and control super smooth and easy to tune, I mean look at that speed this is insane on my really low powered setup here this is 2205 2500 KV Motors, on cruising speed around 40-45km/h I only use 14 amps. Long story short I love these Props! In This video, I did choose a really bad day to go out and fly my drone or let us say it was the best out of a lot of really bad days only rain. But now after I got out and surfed all these clouds and hit some mountain peaks with my long range fpv drone, and all these epic light and cloud formations I would say it was one of my best days while I did long range flying. Look at the moving clouds sometimes I could not say more than the ground in a glimpse and the video signal was getting really bad, but it was so worth it. Going full speed into the clouds and look for the next peak was so intense but I was the whole time smiling and pushing my self to go deeper in and to some cloud surfing, after the landing I hat to clean my FPV drone and lenses from all that water. The edit of this video was easy only one part was hard I could not choose which clips are going into this edit, all of the flights looked super cinematic and with some color corrections just epic and the thrill of the speed and all other videos must have been checked more than one time. In this video, we're going on a cloud surfing adventure with our FPV drones high up on mountains. We'll be flying the drones close to the ground, high up in the sky, and capturing some amazing footage of the beautiful landscape below. There is no bad weather just the wrong equipment :) and all these clouds have to be honored while we perform some fpv drone formation flying and cloud surfing with our Race Drone. Flying together in formation with our race drone in these epic clouds was a super unreal experience for me. So this first episode only covers a small window from our FPV week and we really drove through these clouds and fog a lot without knowing where the road leads us, so our destination was unknown more than once. Flux and I have been planning for a very long time this week and there were a lot of ingenious mountain divers planned etc. Unfortunately, the weather has ruined our whole plan. I've never flown my race drone in such bad weather before. Sometimes it was just pouring and the fog was so thick that you hardly saw 5m far. But it was an unbelievable experience to be high in the mountains and when the fog cover had small cracks to find them and to fly through with our quadcopter in formation. Our FPV image was mostly just badly my essential worse than Peter because he had the view thanks to Rapidfire but it was a challenge. FPV Cinematic flying and filming with our long range FPV race drones is an ongoing adventure every time when we are out we learn something new it is so great what this small quadcopter can do today I mean 4k 60 frames filming and that on an average speed of 80km/h insane. Flying in Fog and Clouds with our FPV Race Drones was super intense because the clouds on the mountain were moving so fast that sometimes when we started for a mountain peak in the meanwhile the whole line was fogy or clouds were so tight that we can't see anymore a the FPV signal was going down to 0 more than one time. Flying like an eagle with our drones in these Mountains is super awesome this was a childhood dream of mine and since I found this Drone hobby it comes true and I love every single second of it. In this edit is all used what is on the Market Gopro 6 and Realsteady go also Gopro 7 and Hypersmooth but also a lot of stuff without stabilization. The last two weeks were incredibly bad weather so unfortunately there was no new video but I used the time to bring my edit skills to the next level. Cinematic Drone films and Race Drone flying edits are becoming more and more popular, so now I'm trying to figure out how to combine this with my own flying style and edit style. I would love to hear in your comments how you like it whether there should be more of it or only partially or whether I should simply remain faithful to my previous style. In this Race drone fpv #cinematic edit I used old and new clips, I learned something with these edits on the one hand as certain things work better, and on the other hand a lot about Premiere Pro and transmission, speed ramps and so on. Anyway, it was fun to create this cinematic Video edit, it always amazed me how it all works and if you look at the videos of JohnnyFPV and so you can see how much consideration is already in the recording with the race drones so in the end a cinematic drone video is created. This attempt has opened my eyes and I can hardly wait for this bad weather front to finally pass and I can finally go and fly. Cinematic Race Drone flying is some kind of different flying for me because you really look that your flying is as smooth as possible and you search for the right light or the right line and so on. When we think more like Race Drone vs Dji for me always a race Drone wins because I can fly way more dynamic, closer and have a lot of freedom in how my drone flights but I have no things they help to stay in the Air so Race drone flying is much harder than Dji flying and you have to learn a lot before you can fly a Race Drone. All of these shots were taken with a Gopro 6 or 7 Black some of the shots are over a year old so don't look to close at it :) but in the future when you like that edit all is taken with a Gopro 7 and 4k. So on this edit no Real steady only GoPro 7 hyper smooth or Gopro 6 Stabilization. Edit such a Cinematic Video with my FPV Race Drone clips was a long-term goal for me but because of a lot of other projects I did not find the right time now is the time finally coming and a new age of Cinematic Drone footage and edits is coming on my channel. I watched a lot of Drone videos that were done with a DJI and the same kind of Drones and they are beautifully made like really awesome nature shots and so on but all of these Videos are in a way stationery and there is a change for our race drones they are faster more dynamic and you can easier flight in rough spots between trees or stones and so on. But it takes more skill and the cameras are not as good as they are on an Inspire and similar drones. Now you have to find a way to discharge lipo battery for storage, and I finally found a solution that seems good to me. The tool has two functions, the XT60 on the right is a 0 Volt Discharger this is useful for half-dead lipos after a crash and you want to discharge this 0 Volt before you can put it in the trash. (it takes about 24 hours for discharge lipo to zero ) The balance plug on the other side is the 4.0 to 3.0 Volt Balance Discharger 1-6S. (discharge lipo battery for storage) Yes, you read correctly that it balances the cells and this is one of the great advantages compared to other dischargers on the market. Another advantage is that once the URUAVUR Lipo Discharger reaches the final discharge voltage, it automatically shuts down without fan noise. 2. how to hack / improve the unloading time - description According to the description it takes about 5 hours and more for larger lipos and that's not really fast, safe and without noise, but not fast, so I was looking for a solution to shorten the discharge time. That's why I looked at how this tool works, I saw that the resistors on the bottom of the tool are separated for all 6 wires, always two of them. We can discharge a lipo with light bulb (G4 sockets and lamps) to improve the speed, but this time the discharge channels are switched on and off with electronics, so we have to be careful that the lamps don't overload the electronics, it worked with up to 10W light bulb without any problems in my previous tests. With 10 Watt G4 lamps I have discharged a 1550mhA Lipo from 100% to below 20% (3.6Volt) in about 2 hours (you can see this in the video) with 5 Watt lamps, it took about 3 hours (also in the video). So we can say for the normal 3.8v memory voltage that it takes about an hour and a half or less with a 1550mhA Lipo and that's a nice speed, isn't it? 3. With the 3D printing it looks like this, but the design is not finally a work in progress any more better ideas are welcome! 4. danger and safety First of all, take care of your lipos and always check them for damage, always keep an eye on the lipos and this tool and never leave them alone in the room. Relaxing Sunset flying with my Long Range for Drone high up on snow Mountain, just in time before a Winter storm comes and the light goes away FPV Long Range flying could not be more awesome on that Long range trip. High wind speeds and extremely low temperatures could not stop me to record this beautiful Mountain Sunset with my GoPro 7 and Hypersmooth. Relaxed flying and quiet clean maneuvers were my goals for this flight and it worked out great or what do you think? Long range FPV flying with my Drone is always incredibly beautiful and exciting at the same time I didn't really want to go because of the high wind speeds but then I probably would have missed one of my most beautiful flights so far. This Winter Wonderland in the last sunbeams of the day to see was simply breathtaking I would have liked to have flown countless lipos with my Quadcopter to this magical hour but unfortunately I had not enough and the light went away very quickly. The flying in this Video is slow and easy this is some visual Zen and relaxing Motuain flying with my drone. Next time I fly again deep and risk again more have there still a bill with a wild stream open I have already flown too close but due to the cold, my GoPro battery failed. Flying over the Mountains in Winter is always fun and my heart beats every time when I watch my own video and my fingers get nervous and scream for more stick time. Be sure to keep the batteries warm, and your fingers! Then it's gonna be a fantastic flight. Our RC Drones or better said our quadcopter can have these days a really long flight time I mean with my race drone here I have around 5 to 8 minutes flight time and that with only a 1500mhA lipo, and I can easily use a bigger lipo like 2500 or so. A Cinematic 4k edit was one of the targets for this editing, but due to the hard disk loss some of the project files were corrupted and I had to re-customize all the files in the clip, so unfortunately there are some glitches in the final video that weren't planned this way, sorry. So go out and check out his channel! https://goo.gl/vouxWC and give him some LOVE :) It's like a dream finally coming true when I saw his first Drone videos years ago I always thought to myself, oh man one day I have to fly my Quad like him and my fpv videos have to look so super smooth. We flew a lot of clear Long Range fpv proximity lines between the trees and down the mountains with our Racing quadcopter and that alone looks like I think super cinematic :), but unfortunately my GoPro Hero 6 didn't work properly because it blurred the whole background and didn't focus, it turned out afterward that the lens was out of focus and had to be repaired by GoPro. So please don't look too detailed at the background :) FPV Formation flying and long range flying are always fun and nothing brings my heart more to beat than this kind of flying my quadcopters, and the best part is doing this with someone like Peter aka Flux FPV, Keep talking and searching for the best mountain surf and not to lose each other out of sight in mid-air is not too easy. This making of drone videos is also something new for me in another matter this is the first time that I use Reelsteady to iron out the last macks, for those who want to see that video without Reelsteady I have a link without Reelsteady editing there you can see that it was very smooth even without it, just comment when you want the link. I also decided to give the whole thing a color touch of its own or otherwise said I'm trying to get a uniform color look for my future videos, please let me know in the comments how you like it. All in all, this is one of the longest edits I've ever made it put more than 9 days into this project (without flying) But to deliver this ingenious footage of mr. Flux and I and his visit to me the best possible result was definitely worth it to me. In this video, I'll show you how I fly through clouds using my GoPro Hero 7 Hypersmooth 4k drone. I'll cover everything from setting up my drone to flying through the clouds! If you're looking for a fun and easy way to fly through the clouds, then this video is for you! I'll show you how to fly through the clouds using my GoPro Hero 7 Hypersmooth 4k drone, and you'll be able to fly long range without complication. If you're looking for an adventure on your next drone flight, then look no further! Testing my new GoPro Hero 7 with Hypersmooth stabilization on my long range Drone while I flying through clouds and surfing them, it was an extremely windy and cold day, you can see the clouds moving very fast into the picture (perfect for some cloud surfing), so the activated Hypersmooth stabilization was really at the limit you can see some light swings from time to time but with a wind strength that closed my car door effortlessly only by the wind I am very happy with the result but it could be better. Cloud surfing with Drone make always fun. I have seen many videos of the #GoProHERO7 and how the #hypersmooth stabilization works or not, it seems to work well for #Gap707, but here in this test I clearly see some bugs (maybe you'll find them too). I can't stress enough what a strong wind blew over the mountains that day, but I've done some good weather tests and also found some faults and so on, for now, I'm going to omit the stabilization just for walking and talking is super nice. So let's talk a bit more about the stabilization of the #GoPro Hero 7, first of all I think it's a shame that you only have the following selection of stabilization from or auto, hyper smooth or not, then with the different frames. Of course, it's very nice that you can choose the #hypersmooth stabilizing at 4k60p or4k50p but that you can't choose the normal stabilizing as well is a bit annoying. Why does this annoy me with the GoPro Hero 6 you only have a normal stabilization but it works great for quiet FPV #longrange flights or other smooth quadcopter flights. And this also with ND filter and Protunes to the current time this is however after my own try with the Gopro 7 simply not possible as soon as one uses an ND filter the Stabilization comes with it somehow not clear and one receives only to wobble and blurred footage. I've done an incredible number of long range flights in totally different environments from spring over summer to autumn and again and every time I put my drone in the air I normally adjust the pro tunes settings and try to get the best out of the picture and the environment, unfortunately, the GoPro Hero Back 7 restricts me in this freedom of use with my quadcopters. For us drone pilots the option would have to come in any case only the normal stabilization to use and or as the gap has already suggested the scene recognition in the Hypersmooth stabilization switchable so that one then presumably again a reasonable picture with ND filter and stabilization gets. FPV Cloud Surfing with my Long range Quadcopter is just always fun, unfortunately, the wind was a little too strong, so I concentrated on not losing my line or losing my quad on the top of the mountain. The wind was strong enough to move the quad in a few moments by a few meters, so someone should say that FPV pilots are only good weather flyers :). Super fast flying with my Race Drone in the middle of a tight Forest and searching for some random lines to fly, this is a super intense feeling when all these trees rush fast out of your sight and the next one is in front of you. From the last video https://goo.gl/i3sLDc this random forest has to be ripped again with some random lines and super fast proximity flights. At the end almost no tree could stop me, as you can see in the video, only at the last Lipo (never say last Lipo) I lost my GoPro Hero 6 Black in a really bad crash frontally on a tree at top speed. GoPro is, unfortunately, a total loss "RIP ✝️ GoPro Hero 6" and the saddest the recordings of the last flight is also lost ???? I love these super fast and very intense dives in such a confined space, the video signal is always such a thing mostly I try to fly as far as possible straight out into such a dense forest until the signal gets bad then I try to sound out left and right my playground. On this flight I tested the ney flight one 1.1.140 firmware on my Revolt build normally I use race flight old on my builds, this new version has something the control is a lot better (one reason is that this version support CRSF) and the control overall feels more direct, sadly I didn't find a good tune in the open field some vibrations still visible in the HD Footage. Many of you have asked me in the past, how I don't lose the overview in such narrow and unclear forests, yes, this is not so easy to explain but I try it, in the course of time it is always easier for me to increase the relative position of my quadcopter by means of my hearing so in short, I connect what I see with the noise which makes my drone the quieter the further away the more left then I am, etc. actually easy, with the first batteries on a new spot I always try to find out the limits of my new playing ground once straight in then left then right always until the signal gets bad. Next I try to find the passages where I can be really fast, or as in this case just go ahead and get into the forest with as much speed as possible because I just react to what is coming to me (reaction training) :) but best you try it a little slower at the beginning. flying in #proximity heaven is just the beginning :) my mini quadcopter flys perfect between this big mountain trees and it was super fun to fly in this epic place. In this drone chasing video, we follow Luke Bannister as he pilots his long range drone flying in formation high in the mountains. This drone cinematic is a great example of how drone flying can be used to capture stunning footage of landscapes and wildlife. By flying in formation, Bannister was able to create a cinematic experience that was simply impossible to achieve with traditional filming methods. After the first long range flight and some trial runs with our new #GoproHero6, we decided it's time to join forces with Luke Bannister and fly up these mountains in the formation and to some FPV Long Range FORMATION flying with BanniUK, this was definitely one of the best decisions we've made in a long time. So two quads two Gopro 6 and the heartbeat over 9000:), but with BanniUK as mastermind (THX FOR THAT) there was no stress at all. Chasing his quadcopter is almost impossible, he's always so fast. This time we were on a total of 3 spots and the material we got sometimes looks like from a game? it couldn't be real, could it? Without Team Black Sheep this kind of flying would be not possible the Crossfire System works every time like a charm. THX for that Team Black Sheep aka Trappy and co! Flying up the mountains with the quads is always more fun, now we're on a level where the quad-copters are tuned and nothing disturbs the flight itself, only the rates have to get softer for smoother turns. All in all, this was a fantastic day with perfect weather and zero crashes. For the next time we will try different settings on the gopro because the snow still sticks out too much to get the perfect snow material. We also flew some FPV formations last summer with our quadcopters and that was just epic, but with the snow and knowing that you can hardly or not get there in a crash, that's another thrill, just brilliant. The hardest part of flying so close to a flying buddy is not to lose focus on anything else like the mountain or the surrounding area or to get lost behind a mountain ridge and so on, but anyway or otherwise we are ready for the next action. #FPVLongRange Quadcopter flying is currently one of our favorite hobbies, but the Quad Session starts in April and we can't wait until 2018 will be our best FPV year ever. We strive for perfection, next time in this series we will show you some fantastic formation Low Surface Proximity Flying with more than two drones :) Hunting Luke on this mountain was a lot of fun, but he is not only ultra fast in the race but also uphill, I had to stay hard on the throttle to stay close to him at all :) The gopro settings are not perfect, I'm also trying out a new editing program and looking for the optimal performance, but in the end we have to test it more, we need more data and flights. :) But for my first attempt to cut with Adobe Premiere, I'm very happy with the result.
