Each image consists of three channels - Red, Green and Blue. The balance between those creates all the colors that we can see on a display and as we saw in last week’s video sometimes the signal in one channel can influence the signal in another channel which can in some cases lead to artifacts or other problems. Therefore it’s just useful to look at each channel on its own to find out where the issues come from and find a solution.
