Finally, had my first ever solo camping, and able to try & test out the Naturehike 2-man tent. This episode 13 solo camping moment, nervous and anxious is because didn’t expect it will turn out all by myself on the entire campsite. Of course, the good side of solo camping, feeling rested and renewed. And might even help myself to destress and learn new ways of dealing with stress. Out to the nature, there are no conventional worries; just beautiful scenery, the smell of fresh air and the warmth of a campfire. After setting up the tarp and tent, made myself a cup coffee and ate a bread. Then started heavy downpour rain. Nothing much I can do from that moment but just chill and relax in the warm tent. When the night set in, cook myself a simple meal, and surprising a friendly neighborhood, a cat came over to accompany me over the night. With the cat around, I’m able to have less anxious throughout the night. :D Previous camping moment it was couple camping experience. Being solo camper definitely will learn mistake and lesson learned. And able to leave worries behind but worries my own safety while camping alone. We are glad to be back to nature with our camping experience on Episode 12. And this time we are heading to a campsite call Moonkissed by The River and a truly romantic experience with full moon and brighten up the entire campsite. After further discussion myself with Beatrice, this campsite could be our top 2 most amazing, great & best campsite we ever experience. A memory that will never forget, our ever first time purchasing a real vintage Coleman lantern, 56 years old vintage lantern accompanying us to this episode 12 camping moment together. We just love the lantern and really able to light up the entire campground d which is tapak 13. Another thing we really would like to share with you guys, Moonkissed by The River, the river water current pretty strong, so we really enjoy the natural massage from the current. The entire river at the campsite, the nature created numerals mini waterfall, and in front of our tent having 3 mini water falls. In the video, we recorded one of the mini water falls. Since we started our camping, as an electrical engineer, lightings have always been my interest & fond to have my own collection of the Coleman lantern. This video showing a process of unboxing the Coleman 200a model manufacture in the month of February year 1966, a oldest lantern I ever purchase. How to Make Great Coffee with Moka Pot | 5 and 3 Simple Steps for Delicious Camping Coffee Latte In this video I will show you guys 5 and 3 simple steps how to brew nice coffee latte while you are at campsite. This simple step may not be perfect for camping coffee, but this step I find the best for our taste and our liking, if you may have any suggestion, pls do not hesitate to leave suggestion and comment in the section below. I will highly appreciate. As campers, is so convenient, just to bring a Moka pot express, a froth milk pump and a fire stove and you able to do a great coffee latte at campsite. Please do find the 5 (brew coffee) & 3 (froth the milk) simple steps guidance in this video and also the description below. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Step 1 ~ 5 (Brewing the coffee) Step 1 Remove the Kettle & remove the funnel tank. Fill water into the boiler until the safety valve level. Cold or hot water doesn’t matter. But using cold water will brew longer time. Step 2 Insert back the funnel tank and fill with coffee ground. Grind the coffee beans coarser. Don’t compress it but pound it on the table and smoothen it using a spoon or stick. Step 3 Extra tips using paper filter. Step 4 Turn on your heat source to medium-low and put the Moka pot on top. Make sure the handle is not subjected to the heat. Step 5 Leave the top lid open. Can see when it brews. When start spurting, time to off the fire. Remove the Moka pot from the heat source and allow the coffee to finish brewing. Step 1 ~ 3 (Frothing the milk) Step 1 Fill the milk around 300ml for this size of cup that we bought from Decathlon. I am using a 400ml Stainless steel milk frother hand pump type. If y’all interest on purchasing this, I will leave the items in the description below. Step 2 Heating the milk. Using outdoor picnic alcohol mini stove fire to heat up the milk and consistently spin the milk to prevent burning the milk underneath, of cause y’all can use the spinner milk for this part. Step 3 Check the temperature. Suggest to 60 Degree Celsius. I will be using 3m X 3m tarp for this video. So if you using other brand other sizes, the way setting up pretty the same. Just that more poles & pegs only. Step 2 Set up front & back of the tarp with poles & ropes Insert the poles into the tarp hook that provided with the tarp. lay it flat on the ground inside the tarp on both side (front & back of the tarp) I will be using quick release knots, set up 2 ropes IN front first, And then fix one peg with a pole (back of the tarp only) Step 3 Slowly lifting up the pole (front) Slowly lifting up the poles the front part of the tarp. Step 4 Lift up another side of the pole And then set up pegs & ropes (back of the tarp) then Remove the Peg that you install, and lift up the pole slowly. Adjust the poles and ropes by tighten it. Step 5 Set up ropes & pegs all corner of the tarp One by one install the ropes & pegs all around the tarp. Extra tips and idea. Get yourself extra poles and set up by making the tarp higher so that you will have better view and working space for cooking and relaxation. The intro song of our episode 11 camping trip is call Beauty Lives in Me by JOHANNES BORNLÖF FEAT. JENNIFER HOLM, and we really love this song. 10 camping experience has passed. We learnt so much and progress gradually in our camping adventures. There is time of obstacles & challenges, from amateur to better camper, there is time of quiet & peace. The song we chose from Epidemic Sound suits our ep 11 intro and we shared some recap of our first 10 episodes, beautiful moments & sweet memories. This episode 11 is our first camping trip with friends. We cooked and shared the food and joy together. In Bernam Nature Hut campsite, we chose to set up our tent at the far-left side, near to deep forest. The river stream is really fantastic and nice with clear and clean water. We borrowed a ring float and experienced the rings going through river stream. What makes the experience more exciting, further down the river stream the current very strong and eventually pushed us faster and further with lots of thrill. This is the nine episodes of our camping adventure at Pantai Cunang campsite located at Tanjung Sepat, which very near to Morib. We got the chance to visit Kampung orang asli village, such as buildings and houses that build by orang asli in front of the beach. This camping adventures surprisingly we manage to see fishes in the sea, hermit crab and a spotted green snake. We enjoy very much the sea sound, nature wind and insect’s sound. With smooth fine sandy beach. Every camping adventures we had, full of surprise and different moment and experience. This trip we face real thunderstorm in the middle of the night. Didn’t expected this happen to us and we are not fully prepare and don’t know what to do when things go rough. This is the eight episode of our camping adventure at Kuala Kubu Bharu Wind Valley Farm campsite. We got the chance to visit KKB old dam at Ampang Pecah with astounding views and enjoy ourselves chilling there. Ampang Pecah old dam is also called mini “Niagara Falls” in Malaysia due to its’ stunning waterflow. It is very near to our campsite, approximately 7 mins drive. KKB is a small and peaceful town, used to be the second largest town in Selangor. This township has a rich historical background with very nice local food served. At the campsite, we got to experience another 3D2N adventurous moment with natural forest sound and bird chirping. Has different themes campsite and a wide range of activities. - Only have 2 toilets nearest to the Event Campsite. - No mosquitoes at camp site, but plenty of monkeys. - You have to bring your own wagon. It is not provided. - Overall good experience, nice cooling weather & great river stream & bamboo trees view. Recommended. Water is so clean and cooling. - Need to go up & down the sloppy hill to bath / toilet break or dish washing. Pretty inconvenient. - Showering entirely open air, it might be troublesome for ladies’ campers. We decided to choose forest site rather than the common area, with no regrets with the decision. We were able to relax and enjoy to the max with the nature and clean river stream near our campsite. We spend most of the time chilling at the river stream with cold water flowing through our feet. While doing that, we enjoy a cup of coffee and the forest sound with water flowing. We shall look forward to another 3 days 2 nights camping experience, because we really can enjoy & rest, while taking our own sweet time to set up tent & tarp. We deco with “ang pows” (red packets), lightings & mandarin oranges to blend with this festive season. We chose to camp at Taman Eko Rimba campsite, which is located at Rawang. A camp area called Event Campsite, very near to clean river stream where you can enjoy bathing, overseeing view of big & very tall bamboo trees. Of course, not to forget mention with great companions of many many monkeys. In this video, we set up our new tarp, bigger & wider tarp so that we are not worried when heavy downpour. Do stay tune for our coming review on our new tarp. This 5th camping experience, just only 2 of us at the campsite during the night as it is weekdays. Some families came to picnic but left at evening. Truly this is the first experience in pretty deep forest with just the 2 of us. Kind a scary because the number of monkeys is more than campers. :D We have to find ways to prevent monkeys from stealing and taking our items. This is our fourth episode part 1 of camping adventure, a special Christmas edition with Ukulele Christmas Caroling. If you watch my previous video, I bought a ukulele and pick up some songs to be played during camping. This trip is filled with Christmas joy and celebration spirit. We camp at Yunkai campsite – located at Genting Sempah, Bentong, Pahang state. A place with sea clouds & mountain spectacular view. With our new wagon, it is convenient and easy to move around with essential items such and equipment. We ordered this wagon together with the custom-made wood table top, allowing us to have more space to put camping stuff. Also, this time we forgot to hammer and the ground is pretty hard, need to hammer the stakes down. So, I did a bushcraft hammer and it is very good use. This is our third episode of camping adventures. From the previous episodes, we had different experience camping at the river side & in the forest. This 3rd episode we decided to have it at the hill top. A campsite call Yaka – Eco deer ranch located at Lenggeng, Negeri Sembilan. Over all point of view: - This is a very well maintained and clean campsite. - Campsite on the left, too near to the rubbish, dumping area, campers may get the sting smell of the rubbish. - Very friendly management. Check on us before we check out. - Basically, there are 2 locations of Camping ground. Location A, B is on the left side, C located to the right side, if you prefer peaceful, calm and privacy can consider C site, and C site is very near to river stream. - The toilet is well maintained and Clean. - A lot of mosquitoes, beware and make sure bring mosquitoes repellent and coils. - The entrance road after the tar road, mud road might be a little bit rough but no issue for any car. - If you do not have a wagon or trolley, you can borrow their industrial trolley that located in the middle of the campsite (near the woods). - Overall great experience, love the deep forest, calm and harmony. This is our second episode on camping adventures. This trip we felt more relax because we managed to survive from the first camping experience. Do check out our first episode for the thrilled experience we had. We did not expect the campsite was pretty deep located. We love the driving into the jungle & we met some cute dogs welcoming us while on the way to the campsite. I was told by the owner around 100 steps from parking to our campsite, so we decided to bring our industrial type of trolley (not wagon). We struggled to push our trolley loaded with heavy items from parking to our campsite as the bridge were partition with blocks. Before the year of 2020 ended, Four of us decided to pick up our trolleys and headed down to Ledang GCC. Direction from Kuala Lumpur, drive down to south NKVE highway and exit at Tangkak town, and drive towards Segamat for another 25mins drive (approximately 20km). You will see plenty of palm trees and a signboard “Bukit Ledang Air Terjun”, make a left turn and you shall arrive at Ledang GCC on your right. Hi everyone, thanks for following my channel. This video recorded our golf game at Royal Kampung Kuantan Golf & Country Club. Four of us decided to pick up our trolleys, took an hour drive to Kampung Kuantan, which is near Kuala Selangor. We walked 9 holes and we really enjoy walking while playing. Apart from having good exercise and sweat with the walk, we also get to enjoy the breeze and scenic view on our tempo, stepping on the grass and feeling the ground. Hope everyone keeping safe and well. After MCO was lifted, we made a 2D1N golf outing trip. To our close friends Jeff & Sally, thank you for arranging this wonderful trip to Awana Genting Highlands Golf & Country Resort. We enjoy great companionship, the chill, the fun, the cool air, breathtaking view of Awana course and the cozy night stay. This video is the 2nd part, we woke up very early morning, had our breakfast, packed up golf bags & headed down to registration counter. Weather is perfect, cool breeze, surrounded with lush greens and thin mist. Course condition was wet and soggy due to rainfall the night before. Monkeys were very mischievous ang they took away our flight mate’s bag of new golf balls. Overall, it is a challenging course and thoroughly enjoyable!
