Some genuine Moments alongside my first attempt on (a custom) Film Emulation while it wasn’t supposed to emulate a particular film stock. I’m not really content of how it turned out mainly because I was using a VND with this weird polarization going on… it kinda screwed my footage. I tried to recover the weird vignetted and over saturated sky with a power window. But in the end it was captured for the memories only. I mean diving at night in water that was cold af... I didn't know how long we would survive in the cold water and even thinking of getting the shots I had in my mind. The current of the river was also quite strong, so yk I had to stop with my legs against the current to film with my hands. I thought the footage was way to shaky. However... Unshared Memories - The Origin of my Passion. The Story of how everything started. Have you felt discouraged because of not being able to travel over the past months during quarantine - or even still are? If you do so - that’s exactly how I felt… moreover, do you want to see where my passion has its origin? I hope this will inspire you and give you a better perspective! How I came up with this project: “So I’ve been looking for some footage from my old storage and came across the footage from 2017/18, I watched it and these memories came up and I had to smile and laugh. I knew I wanted to make a video about it, like a rewind or something, but I didn’t because there was no good story. A few days passed by and I got caught by a projector & vinyl record player. I just combined those things and I had the story I wanted to tell.“ Fun Fact(s): I used the steam of an iron in order to make the light-cone visible (because we don’t smoke, or own a haze machine + quarantine) I recorded the audio for the voiceover under a blanket (which was hot as hell btw) in a small room with a lot of furniture and things in it.
