I'm honestly shocked it took lens manufactures so long to get these out but it's no surprise that Sirui did it first. The Eclipse was first shown early 2024 with the first working prototype tested and it was a success. A very budget and clean way to experiment with useable anamorphics to get cinematic shots. The Viltrox lens for Sony comes in at $99 and the phone anamorphic is only $24...a steal. Since getting my 3d printer I haven't looked back and now create accessories on the fly. On this build I made a Loupe attachment for a generic loupe that fits my FX6...saving hundreds. I also printed the monitor lock which stops the screen from flipping and gear rings for my sigma lenses. What are waiting for...GET PRINTING 🙌🏾

Olympus OM-D E M1 Mark II - LOWLIGHT Hi everyone, did a quick lowlight test with @JKFLASH using viltrox & sigma 18-35. With no dual iso it was really tough and some shots had a lot of noise. I used resolves noise reduction to clean it up but it was very tough to do. With no dual iso you really have to be careful with where you shoot. CANON EOSM - DIY EVF - DOES IT WORK? I've noticed I've been missing focus a lot lately...maybe old age lol. Anyway I've bought a 7inch monitor to combat this problem but I can't use that on eos-m. Rather than spending £200 for something that would get limited use, I decided to build my own for around £30 using a raspberry pi 3.5inch screen and case. It's not the best quality but I think it works as intended with 1 minor issue...diagonal screen tare when panning. Let me know if you would like me to strip it down and see how to build it. Nothing scientific, just improvs, Quick shot's and even quicker grading. Ursa shots are all in 4k. On the sketch I used a 10-18 & 50mm stm. The only Ursa shots are of him talking in the tunnel. The rest is eos-m. On the Ursa lowlight shots I used Helios 44-2 Oval bokeh mod & Sigma 18-35 1.8 with Tiffen Black Pro Mist 1/4. No denoise applied. Eos-m shots are all 1080 and shot on Canon 18-135 stm and Cheap Zomei VND. Rendered in mlv app as ProRes422 and graded in resolve. Gimbal for eos-m shots was Moza aircross 1. Bgh1 - Mov all-i 10bit 422 4kDCI Vlog-L I've wanted to do this test for a while now but only just got a portable power solution sorted. It's a very minimal grade, not perfect but good enough to compare these 2 great cameras. NOTES - Regarding the blown highlights. The correct thing to do regarding the bgh1 was to expose better for the highlights as a few people have mentioned. I will do a more controlled test in the future. I'm personally not offended by making mistakes. I used EOSHD C-LOG in a bid to get the M50 to look like a pro camera with a natural look. Too many times I see people butchering M50 footage with luts and make it look like a rubbish camera. I use cinestyle sometimes but I prefer EOSHD C-LOG but I don't use their luts.. 8bit footage is hard to get to a "cinematic" level but it's good if you handle the corrections yourself if you want to use a flatter profile. I think Technicolour Cinestyle is a great alternative so please try that before you purchase ANYTHING! I AM NOT INVOLVED WITH EOSHD AND RECEIVE NOTHING FROM THEM! Decided to try out Josh from Momentum_Pictures instagram idea of creating a fake Arri Trinity. Arri Trinity cost's around £50k but this was made for £440 using moza air and a steady cam. I didn't do any prior test's, only what you see in this video. I really struggled to hold it hence some jerky movement. I think if you're strong or have a steady cam vest, this could work out great. Building a cinema professional rig for the Canon M50 should be cheap. It's a great for vlogs but can also be used for semi pro work...if you rig it right. Testing this ultra cheap 4K tv. IMPORTANT!!!! For ENHANCED mode on hdmi put it on tv mode then go to menu, settings, sources and you can change hdmi to enhanced. This should give you a very nice colours and detail on any device plugged in via hdmi. If the blacks look flat for certain devices then switch it off. I’ve tested it on a normal firestick and HD on Netflix is significantly better than using the tv’s built in Netflix app. I wish I’d bought a 4K fire tv now as I think it would look amazing!
