For the past 6 months, I have been designing this home office and studio space. What microphone do you REALLY need? The Rode Video Mic Pro Plus (what a mouthful lol) is great for up close, on the go, vlog style shooting. This mic is great for wide focal lengths and pop-down shots, which is exactly what I wanted it for. Something I could use to get GREAT audio, but in cool, random locations other than my home office. It is ironic that the audio on this video sounds a bit robotic and poopy, but that is what happens when you record through OBS at a low bit-rate, for the sake of making the video work. It happens...¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 2. Just using these methods alone will make your audio sound better, but making sure you have solid equipment is something that is critical to your success. 3. Most of the things that I walked through are VERY similar to that of AUDACITY's method in processing audio.
